A brief history of EVC
Erith Veterans Club was launched in December 1942 at The Avenue Hall, Avenue Road, Erith and was established to cater for men over 60 who were retired and looking for friendship and companionship with fellow retirees.
The club relocated to Park Crescent in December 1956, where it has remained since.
Over the years the club has seen many changes. We are now sponsored by The London Borough of Bexley, we invite and welcome 'The Mature' men and women from the local and surrounding areas to join us in our many activities.
The club is normally open Monday to Saturday, with the occasional Sunday (see opening times).
In 2022 the club became a Community Interest Company.
